Seiron

Distilled in March of 2025.
Distillation method : Hydro, copper pot.

When we were testing some batches of Ceylon woods on the ceramic burner, we noticed that one batch in particular smelled like cooling tropical guava, this cooling tropical note is something that we try to capture in Ceylon oils.
So we did what we had to do, we chopped the woods up, threw them in the grinder. Short soak to loosen up some fibers and then it all went inside the still.
Distillation took 30 days and we tried to capture as many aspects of the Ceylon profile as we could. After 30 days it also took a while to cure the oil, we had a Taiwan and Bangkok trip in between also. When we came back and swiped the oil we cracked a big smile and enjoyed Seiron like we enjoyed the Ceylon oils from back in the day.

Now for the oil :

Cooling mint note all through, crisp guava, honey, gummy kinam dust, powdery incense . Notes of purple & white florals with the bitterness of Nha Trang. Juicy crisp and cooling rose apple with a drydown of sinking Sri Lankan slivers on ceramic that slowly dance with fruits.
