Meet Kani
My name is Kani, founder and distiller of Yusa Aromatics. For a couple years now, I have devoted myself to the traditional art of distillation and natural perfumery, working with some of the world's most treasured aromatic materials, including agarwood, oud oils, attars, and rare botanical essences. Yusa Aromatics was created from a deep respect for nature, craftsmanship, and the passion required to produce truly exceptional fragrances. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with experienced collectors and vendors from around the world. These relationships have allowed me to explore a remarkable variety of woods, oils and natural materials, each with its own origin, character, and scent profile.
A Hands-On Craft
Despite the growth of the business, I remain closely involved in every stage of the process. I still personally distill most of our oils, carefully preparing the raw materials, monitoring each distillation, and allowing the finished oils the time they need to mature and develop. This hands-on approach enables me to maintain the standards of quality, purity, and authenticity that define Yusa Aromatics. For me, distillation is more than a production method; it is a craft that requires knowledge, intuition, discipline, and patience. Every batch is unique, shaped by the wood, its origin, the distillation technique, and the passage of time. I believe the finest aromatic oils should preserve the true character of the material rather than mask or alter it.
