I received this wood and have tried it around 5 sessions with this wood. To me there is a very strong burnt wood smell coming instead of the special tarakan aroma. I have a few different tarakan woods and this smell nothing like those. I have been using Oud for 3 decades. I am disappointed with this wood thinking the Taiwanese had a unique nose for the quality of wood.
