It opens sharp, fresh and minty, with a clear cooling effect from the start. Underneath the mint there is a touch of orange peel and some juicy grapes, which give the opening a fruity edge without making it too sweet. As the scent opens up more, the fruity notes slowly become sweeter and start to feel almost candy-like. The orange peel turns into more of a candied orange peel note, while the grapes also get a sugary feel. Behind this, there is still a soft green sinensis note playing in the background. It is not the main part of the scent, but it adds depth and keeps the agarwood character present underneath the sweeter notes. In the middle, the bitter and slightly woody sinensis side starts to come through more. It feels cool and dry, with a small pinch of spice added to it. The sweetness is still there, but it becomes less playful and starts to blend with the bitter wood and green notes. As it moves into the drydown, a soft cedar note appears and gives the scent a smoother woody base. The final stage is made up of soft Hainan spices, strong bitter orange and a minty freshness that stays cool at the same time. The result is fruity, bitter, woody and refreshing, with the orange and mint staying noticeable until the end.
