Chokoreto - Malinau

Chokoreto was distilled in May 2026, then cured and finished at the end of June. It opens with a dry, crisp green scent that feels fresh and immediate. As it develops, soft notes of cocoa and incense begin to appear, along with a very light aquatic touch that smooths out the sharper green notes.In the drydown, the scent becomes deeper and warmer, with a rich green character, bitter cocoa-like incense, and agarwood resin. The chocolatey impression is subtle and does not smell like sweet chocolate. It feels more like dark incense with a slightly bitterish cocoa-like warmth.The final stage is long-lasting, resinous and woody, with incense and agarwood staying on the skin for hours.
